How the tiers are set
Every card's rating comes off the same six-tier bands the product-rank game already publishes (/rarity), applied to an adoption rank instead of a trait roll. The full mechanism, the exact population per tier and the two cards holding the chase tier right now are on /rarity/tools.

What is Tool Vault?
A second OutRip pack line: a fixed set, one card per AI coding tool and per model ToolDrift tracks. There is no product to enrol and no rank to hold; you are collecting the set, not competing on it.
How is rarity decided?
By ToolDrift's own measured adoption: a model's share of tracked usage, and a tool's weekly OpenRouter tokens where that exists, GitHub stars otherwise. The most-run tool and the most-used model print as Common; the ones almost nobody runs are the chase. A nightly job re-reads ToolDrift and moves cards between tiers when the ranking moves, with a changelog entry for every move.
Do the packs cost the same as the product-rank packs?
Yes. $5 for 5 cards, $12 for 15 cards, $59 for 90 cards, the same three price points OutRip already sells, and the same floor: every pack returns at least what you paid in card value.
Can I pull the same card twice?
Yes. The catalogue is fixed, so a pack draws from it rather than rolling a unique combination. Each copy prints a serial (Print #14, for example) rather than a mint number out of 999.
Where do my cards go?
Your collection, same as the product-rank cards: no account, held against this browser (or recovered with the Stripe email you paid with). Each card links out to that tool or model's own page on ToolDrift.
