You could take #1 on your first $5 pack.

Put your product in the set, open a pack, and your single highest-rated card is your place on the board. Not what you spent. Not how many you hold. One card.

Every pack returns at least what you paidthe floor — non-negotiable

There is no losing outcome. The randomness only ever decides how far above the floor you land — never whether you land below it. You bought a product and you got the product; the random part is an upgrade sitting on top of it.

You receive the thing you paid for, every time. That is the whole of it.

Card value is the rating the set assigns each card at mint. The floor is checked before the pack is sealed, not after you open it.

One domain, one ownerfirst pack takes it

A domain belongs to whoever opens its first pack. From that moment nobody else can buy packs for it — a stranger who tries is refused before checkout and is never charged.

There is no account to lose, so the claim follows the email you paid with on Stripe. New laptop, cleared cookies, a phone instead: sign back in with that address and the domain is yours again. You never buy it twice.

The crown is never on the pity ladderwhere the ladder stops

Ten packs buys a Rare. Twenty-five buys an Epic. Fifty buys a Legendary. Nothing buys the top of the board — no counter reaches it, no amount of money guarantees it, and there is no gate past 50. Money can buy you into contention. It can never buy first place.

Buy packs

Every pack is the same pack: five cards, one guaranteed hit, and the floor. Buying more buys more rolls — it never buys a better roll.

Go this many packs without a hit and the next one is guaranteed. The ladder counts on you, not on one product — packs bought for different domains all advance the same track. Your own position shows here once you have opened one. Already bought? Get your collection back

Before you buy

The five things people ask on this page, answered on it.

How much does a pack cost?

$5 for 5 cards, $12 for 15 cards, $59 for 90 cards, $5 for 5 cards, $12 for 15 cards, $59 for 90 cards. Every pack returns at least what you paid in card value, so no pack is a losing purchase — the floor is asserted by the mint before any card is written.

Can a $5 pack take first place?

Yes. Rank is your single highest-rated card, and rating is computed from six published trait frequencies rather than from how much you spent — so any card in any pack can take the top of the board. It is unlikely, and it gets less likely as the record rises, but it is never impossible and nothing about spending more makes it certain.

What is the pity ladder?

A published guarantee that spending is progress rather than a slot machine: a Rare is guaranteed at 10 packs opened with no hit, an Epic at 25 and a Legendary at 50. The ladder counts on you rather than on one product, so packs bought for different domains advance the same track. The top of the board is never on the ladder — money can buy you into contention and can never buy first place.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign into; your collection is held against this browser. That is also why clearing cookies or moving to a phone needs the recovery link rather than a password — enter the address you bought with and the collection comes back.

Can someone else buy packs for my domain?

No. A domain belongs to whoever opened its first pack, and every later buyer is refused at checkout without being charged. If the first pack was yours and this browser has forgotten you, sign back in with the email you paid with on Stripe rather than buying again — there is no account, so that address is the claim. Two purchases that complete for an unclaimed domain at the same moment resolve to the pack opened first; the other is refunded in full automatically.

What do I actually get for the money?

Cards. They are downloadable images with your product’s name on them and you keep them whatever rank you end at, plus your position on the public board for as long as your best card holds it. Cards can be traded in to the house for dust at 35% of their rating; there is no cash-out, no secondary market and no player-to-player trading.
